      $IONQ Inc.(IONQ)$ The cash is not $30 million. As of Sep 30 2024, IonQ had $382 million in cash, cash equivalents and investments. On the other hand, their burn rate isn’t $7-8 million per month but closer to $17 million. Hence, the runway is approximately 21-22 months.

But yeah, a lot of the Quantum names are taking a hit, down 40-50%, with some dropping as much as 47%. Today, I want to talk about IonQ.       $IONQ Inc.(IONQ)$  When you read press releases or news about quantum computing, you'd certainly come across the term "qubit". - "Google unveils the 105 Qubit Willow Chip..." - "Ionq achieves 36 Algorithmic Qubits..." - "D-Wave: The Advantage system... with over 5,000 qubits..." - "Rigetti launches 84-qubit Ankaa-3 quantum computer..." In simple terms, a qubit is the basic unit of information that a quantum computer uses to perform calculations. It might make sense that the more qubits the more powerful quantum computers will be.       Replying to @DeltaDrift:Number of qubits is just one factor. Research quantum volume, logical qubits and algorithmic qubits. //@DeltaDrift:I get your point, but I think it’s still down to the number of Qubits that determines the computing power. And at current stage, all these computing power is used to enhance the quantum computer itself. As I’ve mention, IONQ is seeking for commercialize, while other two big corporation could risk creating something with a larger scale.//@fibance:$IONQ Inc.(IONQ)$$IBM(IBM)$ Not all qubits are created equal.

      $IONQ Inc.(IONQ)$$IBM(IBM)$ Not all qubits are created equal. Ionq uses ion trap technologies while IBM (and Google) uses superconducting qubits. Superconducting qubits are faster but they produce a lot of errors because they are manufactured. They also require near 0-kelvin refrigeration to operate. Ion traps on the other hand are slower but has higher fidelity and can operate at room temperature. The connectivity between qubits is all-to-all which means certain operations are simpler. Comparing simply by quantity is like saying 100 bicycles is better than 1 Lambo

      Please do more DD for $Quantum Computing Inc.(QUBT)$. It originally was a beverage company that was bought over and renamed. The revenue was palpable and product offering kept shifting every year. Dilution as well. The team is hardly credible. I’ve been investing in this sector for the past 3 years and this is the one company to avoid.
