It will be interesting to see their S-1, to me the revenue increase isn't so much of interest vs their prediction as to when they will achieve profit. The rise of the cheaper Chinese models (supported by the Chinese Governments push for domination in that area as well) and thus the pressure on Anthropic and OpenAI to lower their prices is what is worrying me. Anthropic has been able to get a large portion of the "coding" companies (unless you're deeply integrated with Microsoft) and has been able to switch over users from OpenAI. However, this comes at a cost, their loss with the subscription models is huge and they can't easily switch to API cost as that would lead to an exodus of their user base (those that are doing AI engineering at least). Beyond this use case nothing else has really

I'm running the GLM model 5.3 for adversarial agent duties like code reviews and to check the plans that Claude Code Opus 5 comes up with. I'm positively surprised about the quality of the models work and responses, in almost every review it finds flaws in Opus 5 plans (which is more a testament to low quality work that Claude's frontier model puts out regularly). Token usage is a bit on the higher side but response time is good, especially given the large repositories and complex infrastructure I run. The company seems like a valid competitor in the AI engineering landscape.

While it’s a smart Jensen Huang move, I do see a big risk for anyone who is coming late to the dinner table. Even right now, us on the ground using Frontier models and also exploring the capabilities of the cheap, Chinese open source models can foresee that this isn’t going well for OpenAI and Anthropic. I’m using GLM 5.2 right now and not for adversarial agents to correct all the errors in the plan and even in the implemented code that Claude Code’s Opus 5 on XHigh or Ultracode produces! The advantage is little and doesn’t justify the 10-20x price difference and Opus 5 is slow as hell. So all those investments in NVIDIA chips will depreciate fast and users will just switch to the cheaper and better option. Other than eg on cars, countries like the US can’t block OpenRouter etc to th

Stop this AI generated Bull Shit videos that are only produced to mislead people into buying overpriced stocks for a company that will still be unprofitable 10 years from now (read their own S3).

It just means the fall will be even steeper once the bubble bursts. All these investments in AI infrastructure and the companies around it cannot mask that AI so far hasn't even be remotely close to any profit making. There's no business case and with almost every week another cheap Chinese open source model getting up to par with the 20-100x more expansive US Frontier models it's also a war of attrition played by China that OpenAI and even Anthropic will loose!

The selloff didn't happen thanks to several factors: - massive buying by Musk's friends like ARK ainvest (we know their long-term performance sucks) - SpaceX employees at least seem to hold onto their shares, most of them are big fans anyways - Early investors like Kevin Paffrath (MeetKevin) are holding onto it, hoping that Joe Retail will fall for the usual Musk tricks and short squeeze game by his sycophants

Ah, sounds like Mr. Musk "fixer" made a couple of phone calls and now the banks that were deeply involved in the IPO are coming to help him. Hmh, doing what they do best, giving wrong advice to their customer, only the best advice for their own good. People, turn your own brain on and stop listening to Wall Street analysts, banks that are deeply involved with money lending to Musk's empire and personal life. Stop listening to your favorite stock pumpers, Wall Street Bets etc. - do your own research! Grab a spreadsheet, build your own models for a companies future that you want to invest in (get help from AI in building it out and then apply human checks).

The performance of Joe Retail is well documented. Heck, even all of the professional traders can't compete with the performance of a AAA ETF like the mentioned S&P 500 one, at least on more than 10 years (with Warren Buffett being the only known exception). So take it how you like it, I still believe that SpaceX is the biggest scam that ever existed and it's run by the biggest scam artist ever known. Yes, not Mr. Ponzi but Elon Musk!

Retail Investors are Buying the Dip on SpaceX's Stock Before More Shares Flood the Market

Up to 911.5 million SpaceX shares, valued at more than $100 billion, will be eligible to be sold on Thursday for the first time, as the first batch of restricted equity held by early investors and company insiders is due to unlock. The milestone will cause SpaceX's freely tradeable float to more than double, data showed. More shares will become eligible to trade in August and September, with additional releases set to continue through December in one of the largest post-IPO share unlocks in U.S. market history.Brent Donnelly, founder of Spectra Markets, recalled how other stocks that drew sizable media attention around the expiration of their respective share lockups fared once the additional shares started hitting the market. The sample size he used was small - it included only three previous examples from the past few years - and in each case, the size of the unlock was much smaller than what is expected from SpaceX.Yet it is worth noting that each time, the data showed that the first

Well, most importantly you have the best search engine in the world and the attached ad business. Waymo is still unprofitable but if driverless taxis are ever going to become profitable, it's going to be at Waymo IMO. They have a great leadership team with thei Co-CEO's. I'm not worrying for top people leaving for a shitload of money. Happens all the time. A great company will use the opportunity to give room to grow for the next in line. Looking at you, Hassabis.

So much winning for the US and Trump. Man, 40 Billion of taco payer money wasted on an illegal war, new debt record, lowest rating for Trump ever and they are losing to the mighty super power called Iran. What a joke the US has become under Trump. I strongly suggest to diversify your portfolio and look outside of the US as that house of cards called Kleptocracy and Circle-Jerking will eventually come to an end. Inflation is already galloping and the Fed will need to raise interest rates in September. Which means all those Data Center spending is becoming even more costly, with very little profit as now the Chinese AI models will destroy the US companies like they did on EV's, batteries and many other industries they set their eyes on (oh Robotics is next BTW).
