$SPDR S&P 500 ETF Trust(SPY)$ $Invesco QQQ(QQQ)$ I have 100% confidence in this market because we have a very competent administration. I mean, what could possibly go wrong with these guys in charge? lol. Buffoons.
$AppLovin Corporation(APP)$ Brutally meh day relative to the $iShares Expanded Tech-Software Sector ETF(IGV)$ monster move. Wondering if it's trading more in line with names like $Meta Platforms, Inc.(META)$ and RDDT. Either way, it does feel like we got through the worst of earnings and the pre-midterm, treasury yield, Iran macro picture without puking well below $300, so it could very well have found a tradable bottom.
$Meta Platforms, Inc.(META)$ In talks to settle the Oakland teen social media trial. A settlement would replace trial risk with a set payout, removing legal uncertainty and clearing a path toward $600+.
$Meta Platforms, Inc.(META)$ Knee jerk reaction, but we still have to see the details and go through what requirements would come with it if it happens. The cash to be paid is no big deal. The settlement discussions are good news, but these discussions come with requirements. They won't just slap on a fine and call it a day. There will be forced restructuring of the algorithm and other changes or requirements imposed. No AG will let them go with just a fine and keep business as usual. Deep changes will need to be made, and that could affect META's balance sheet.
$Meta Platforms, Inc.(META)$ Meta and state AGs have reportedly discussed settling the teen social media case mid-trial. People familiar with the matter told Bloomberg that talks are underway, with the trial now in its second week in Oakland federal court.
$Invesco QQQ(QQQ)$ It's ridiculous how much weight $NVIDIA(NVDA)$ earnings carry. The bears will be scrutinizing every line item and every decimal point. It will probably drop 5-10% because they missed some metric by .00001%. The market feels crooked, but I'm just holding. If it gets brought down, I'll buy more.
Interesting, Intel caught a small bid. The stock had sold off 21% over the past seven trading sessions. I noticed some heavy buying coming in around the $85 price level. I've built a decent position once again, but I'm still looking to purchase lower. $Intel(INTC)$ $Invesco QQQ(QQQ)$ $SPDR S&P 500 ETF Trust(SPY)$
