$Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing(TSM)$ SK Hynix was in focus after Reuters reported that the U.S. Commerce Dept. has held up plans for American semiconductor manufacturing equipment the company needs to expand production in China. SK Hynix is seeking export licenses to bring new equipment to its plant in Dalian, China, saying the production increase would help fund its expansion in the country. The Commerce Department has done a good job here.
$Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing(TSM)$ My best move, and one I plan to take, is to load up after the midterm results are announced. TSMC is sitting around $80 off its yearly high and it is the ultimate provider of chips. Without TSMC the whole AI trade stops. Samsung is the only competitor. There should be a massive premium. With 10 fabs being built or coming online, this should trade back up to $480 in the next 3 months. SpaceX also said they need 200,000 wafers a month to build out their AI trade. NVDA announced 70% growth and there are over 500 data centers being built right now. Other than a large market correction, I don't see a better setup. I am out until the elections are over, and if there is a sweep
$NVIDIA(NVDA)$ Another new high. I've been holding this for more than ten years, basically playing with house money at this point. Not sure why anyone would want to trade around a company that's been up 12 of the last 14 years.
$NVIDIA(NVDA)$ I'm looking at the next frontier, robotics. It's not hard to guess who's going to lead the way. This Musk and Jensen partnership looks like it will keep paying off in a big way.
$Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing(TSM)$ I'm waiting to add more shares at 400. Might add more at 360 as well. For now, 300 to 330 is the lowest range where I'd consider buying more.
$NVIDIA(NVDA)$ $Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing(TSM)$ $Amazon.com(AMZN)$ Amazon is installing an AI accelerator every 14 seconds — over 6,100 chips per day. Think about that scale, and Amazon is just one player. The AI infrastructure buildout is enormous, and we're still in the early innings. The biggest long-term opportunities for NVIDIA, TSMC and the entire semiconductor ecosystem may still be ahead.
$YieldMax Semiconductor Portfolio Option Income ETF(CHPY)$ The AI selloff is getting more and more disconnected from the underlying fundamentals. This selloff was triggered by the earnings report from $Alphabet(GOOGL)$ , despite continued growth in AI infrastructure demand and cloud computing. Short sellers are taking advantage of fragile sentiment. Earnings-related selling created the opening, and bearish positioning and momentum amplified the downside. This stock selloff does not mean the AI growth cycle is over. $Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing(TSM)$ and $NVIDIA(NVDA)$ remain positioned at the
If $Intel(INTC)$ is heading lower, shouldn't $Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing(TSM)$ be moving up? Even if PC demand slows, TSMC's AI hardware should still be bringing in solid revenue. I'm thinking it's a good time to add more TSMC ADRs.
