$ASML 20250221 680.0 PUT$

The whole market was selling off today. As most of my positions are put contracts, the margin runs out quickly.  This ASML put was gonna expire worthless as the strike is still far of the mark from being assignment. However this got liquidated. Which am fine, BUT, at that point , the option worth no more than $3. The liquidation closes it at $45!!! What a dumb system. 1st time experiencing this. Lesson learned. Shall make the effort to close any possible option when margin account went into alert. Dumb nonetheless. $ASML 20250221 680.0 PUT$

Yeah. 😅. Over leveraged. 😅 ok for them to liquidate this, just don’t understand why closing at such high price when the option only worth 2-3 dollar.
