One Sentence to Describe How You've Gotten Through This Market Crash

The market's been in the red every day—so red it matches the color of my face and ears whenever someone asks about my returns.

With the way things have been going, do you need a little mental prep just to open your account each day?

Some people are trying to calm down, some have surrendered with clarity, and others are buying the dip.

Here’s one sentence to sum up how I got through the recent crash:

1. Me in Beijing: Looking at the sea of red on my screen, I decided to shut it off and take a walk in the park to see some green trees and blooming flowers.

Spring is beautiful—if only my portfolio looked that good. But if you're an investor in Singapore, even the park means braving heavy rain these days. When it all feels too much—how do you cope?

2. Someone asked me:"Are you a short-term trader or a long-term holder?"

I say, I'm just a full-time donor—the market’s silent sponsor.

3. It’s heard that one out of every three people got liquidated today.

If it’s not Trump or Buffett… then it’s probably me. 👀

My one sentence is: "I just carry on my daily as usual." Last week, I didn’t even immediately realize that the market had crashed. My portfolio didn’t drop as sharply as the broader market last week, which probably helped keep me calm. Sure, some of my stocks like OXY, RC, and PFE took a hit, but my bond etfs positions—TLT and TLH—were actually holding up okay. That mix really helped balance things out. I didn’t feel emotionally affected, and I wasn’t tempted to make any panic moves. Looking back, I think this experience just reinforced how important diversification really is.

🌟🌟🌟I believe that the best way to get through this market crash is by staying calm and focused on the long term horizon as the markets will always recover just like the Sun will shine again when the storm is over.☔☔☔🔆🔆🔆🌈🌈🌈💰💰💰

Keep cool & calm 🧘‍♀️🧘‍♀️🧘‍♀️ to wait for the right moment to fire. When it is time to retract your order, must fast hand and fast leg (快手快脚) to do so. [Chuckle][LOL][Smile][Happy] I was quick to retract 2 orders last week. Otherwise, 🐼🐼again.
