American spy stock - Palantir ! Hear Ye Hear Ye ! The earnings results came out on Mon, 04 Aug 2025, after US market closed at 4 pm. And $Palantir Technologies Inc.(PLTR)$ did not disappoint. Q2 2025 Actuals. Below is Palantir’s earnings vs LSEG estimates: Earnings per share (adjusted): was $0.16 vs $0.14 cents expected vs Q2 2024’s $0.10; that’s a +60% YoY gain. (see below) Revenue: was $1.004 billion (for the very first time) vs. $940 million expected vs Q2 2024’s $678 million, that’s a +48% YoY gain. (see below) Net income (GAAP): was about $326.7 million vs Q2 2024’s $134.1 million; that’s a +144% YoY gain. Free cash flow (adjusted) : was $569 million vs Q2 2024’s $149 million; that’s a +281.88% YoY gain. Domestic Market (US) Earnings. In its earnings report card, PLTR has reported earnings ‘specifically’ for domestic market (US). (see below) US revenue: was $733 million vs Q2 2024’s $437 million, that’s a +67.73% YoY gain. US commercial revenue: was $306 million of $733 million; that is 41.75% of total US revenue earned. Compare with Q2 2024’s $159 million, that’s a +92.45% YoY gain. This gently addresses any worries that PLTR relies too much on government projects to be profitable. Q2 2025 Contracts. Palantir also disclosed that in Q2 2025, it has: Closed in total 157 deals of at least $1.0 million. Of that, 66 of 157 deals were at least $5 million. Of that, 42 of 157 deals were at least $10 million. Total value of its contracts grew to $2.27 billion; that’s a +140% YoY gain . Q3 2025 Guidance. Based on its current momentum and pipelines, the AI firm has adjusted its guidance for current quarter (Q3 2025). Revenue of between $1.083 - $1.087 billion vs analysts’ estimates of $983 million by +10.38%. Adjusted income from operations of between $493 - $497 million. FY 2025 Revision. PLTR has also revised its overall outlook for FY 2025: Revenue: between $4.142 - $4.15 billion. US commercial revenue in excess of $1.302 billion, that is growth rate of at least 85%. Income from operations (adjusted): between $1.912 - $1.92 billion. Free cash flow (adjusted): between $1.8 - $2.0 billion. New Facts. With its latest earnings out, below are newly calibrated facts on PLTR: Its market value has accelerated past $379 billion. It has jettisoned into the list of top 20 most valuable US companies by market cap, surpassing established companies like $Salesforce.com(CRM)$, $IBM(IBM)$ and $Cisco(CSCO)$. Over the past year, PLTR has risen sharply, outpacing major tech and defense stocks. (see below) It hit a new intraday high of $161.40 per share, on Monday. According to FactSet, PLTR currently trade at 276x forward earnings. Price Target. With the latest earnings, analysts have also revised their price targets for PLTR. (see below) The $170 price target looks set to be breached soon, owing to the positive sentiments surrounding PLTR. (see below) On Tue, 05 Aug 2025, PLTR after-hours trading showing further gains, with the price moving up approximately +6% (or +$9.64) to $170.30 in extended trading. PLTR’s stellar earnings will likely keep its stock price elevated for a while. Now might not be the right time for new investors to enter out of FOMO.
