These new 5x single-stock ETFs are exciting but extremely risky. While they offer huge short-term leverage on names like $NVIDIA Corp(NVDA)$ $Tesla Motors(TSLA)$ $Palantir Technologies Inc.(PLTR)$ , even a small 5% drop in the stock could wipe out the ETF in a day. Any black swan news could trigger instant liquidation — too dangerous for me to hold.
