$Corning(GLW)$

One stock I've continued to quietly accumulate is Corning ($GLW). While it's not usually the first name that comes up in AI discussions, I think it's becoming one of the overlooked beneficiaries of the AI infrastructure buildout. Every new AI data center requires faster networking, higher bandwidth, and more optical connectivity, and Corning's leadership in optical fiber and connectivity solutions puts it in a strong position to benefit from that long-term trend.

Another reason I keep dollar-cost averaging is that Corning isn't dependent on a single business. Beyond optical communications, it has exposure to display glass, specialty materials, automotive glass, and life sciences. That diversification helps smooth earnings across cycles while still giving investors exposure to AI-driven growth. As AI investment expands from GPUs to the supporting infrastructure, I believe companies like Corning could see stronger and more sustainable demand.

I also like management's execution. The company has been focused on improving margins, reducing costs, and expanding production in high-growth areas such as optical connectivity. With hyperscalers continuing to invest heavily in AI clusters and data center networking, I think Corning's products will become increasingly essential. The recent pullback has done little to change that long-term thesis, so I'm comfortable continuing to accumulate shares gradually.

I'm not expecting Corning to double overnight, and that's exactly why it fits my portfolio. It's a business with durable competitive advantages, solid cash flow, and exposure to one of the biggest technology investment cycles of this decade. As long as the AI infrastructure story remains intact, I'll continue to DCA into GLW and let time do the heavy lifting.

As a retail investor, I focus mainly on the US and Singapore markets, combining a mix of technical trading and long-term investing strategies. I enjoy analyzing charts, spotting patterns, and making calculated moves based on both market sentiment and fundamentals. While I'm not a professional, I treat my portfolio seriously and continue to learn and grow with each trade.
