$Invesco QQQ(QQQ)$ I still really like Lithium Americas ($Lithium Americas Corp.(LAC)$ ), even with the stock down 92% from all time highs.
The main reason is Thacker Pass. The project is already deep into construction, with mechanical completion targeted for late 2027 and planned production of 40,000 tonnes of battery grade lithium carbonate annually.
It also has a major DOE backed financing package and GM offtake support, which gives the story a lot more substance than a typical early stage lithium play.
