The semiconductor sector is going through another massive pullback, and while the volatility is uncomfortable, I see it as an opportunity to accumulate more SOXL rather than panic. My long-term view on semiconductors remains bullish, driven by AI infrastructure, data-center expansion, high-performance computing and growing demand for advanced chips. Short-term sentiment can change quickly, but I believe the structural demand for semiconductors will continue to expand over the coming years.
Because SOXL is a 3x leveraged ETF, I'm not treating it as a simple buy-and-hold position. My strategy is to collect gradually during major pullbacks instead of putting all my capital in at once. The deeper the correction, the more attractive the risk-reward becomes for me, while DCA helps reduce the risk of trying to perfectly time the bottom. I'm also prepared for significant volatility along the way because leverage can amplify both gains and losses.
Ultimately, I'm focusing on the bigger picture rather than the noise of a few bad trading sessions. If my thesis on the semiconductor cycle and AI-driven demand plays out over the long run, these periods of fear could prove to be valuable accumulation opportunities. I'm staying disciplined, continuing to DCA into SOXL, and using this massive pullback to build my position gradually. 🚀📈
