$Tiger Brokers(TIGR)$ Am I the only one who had losses in 2024? This year tried out options and was burned badly. To date negative 12% need to slowly recover. May 2025 be a bull and semi bear.

$Tiger Brokers(TIGR)$ 2024 was positive thanks to picking up many Chinese SOE stocks at low point during the mid year.  For 2025 got to adopt trading delta to lock in profit and reenter again upon price retreating....all the best

$Tiger Brokers(TIGR)$ Yes was a good beat for me  at just over1000% I did quite nicely. November was insanely good, but sadly the much anticipated Santa rally was a complete bust for me. But I seriously can't complain. I think January will be slow as well, bring on February!

Very busy on last few days of 2024   and did not trade. Just glad that overall investment is green as there is no worry to beat any average returns.

I didn't invest US stocks at all in year 2024. I invested in SG dividend stocks, HK ETF and emerging markets ETF. I got 10% profits, or 40k, 20k profits come from dividend income in year 2024. I started dividend stocks investment from year 2022, I gradually added the position following Fed interest rates hiking pace.  I got a little profits in year 2024 when US Fed started cutting interest. I satisfied my investment. I am not jealous US stocks market bull, US stocks are really not cheap. History shows that the most important criterion for long-term investors is to buy and hold stocks that stay reasonably priced present healthy fundamentals, not to pursue those firms that grow the fastest. Stocks with fastest growing tends to be overvalued. I don't believe in predicting the market. I b

Mine is -16% this year but that's because I sold some $Tiger Brokers(TIGR)$ shares (that I previously bought when it was at its prime in 2021) when they hit 9+ usd and 12+ usd few months ago. Am still glad that my overall p/l (materialised + unrealised) turned from huge red to slight green this year. Persistence is key, and look forward to greater returns in 2025! [Cool]

I missed the boat for $Palantir Technologies Inc.(PLTR)$   and $SoFi Technologies Inc.(SOFI)$    At least I still have $NVIDIA(NVDA)$  ! Trust in Jensen Huang! Whilst $Advanced Micro Devices(AMD)$  was such a disappointment. Hope to do better next year!!

It is hard to beat market returns through picking of stocks for most people. However, in a bill market like the last 2 yrs, it would be easier vs in 2021-2022 where it is easier to be on the losing end. There are definitely examples where many funds managers perform better than retail investors. However, the main thing that stops me from going to fund managers is their fees that eat into returns and this compounds! Sadly my returns did not beat SPX. Not unexpected as most of my shares are in HK stocks and SREITs which have not caught up with the US market. I don’t set any annual target as my time horizon for my stocks are in years especially for my SREITs where I’m going for the dividends to beat the miserable returns from bank accounts.

TENACITY Family has fallen sick too crazily often this yr. Like >10 times of upper respiratory tract infections per family member this yr. Too many episodes of high fevers, hospitalisations, hospital visits, unexplained erratic medical reports, MCs & absence from sch. It's my first high fever in 7 yrs; & the 1st time my kids were down with fevers of 40-42 deg. Nevertheless, my kiddos have done excellently well in their academic, sports & musical pursuits. Investment wise, it has been a roller coaster ride; but who am I to complain if my portfolio is still much better than when I first started? I may not have much time to spend on TB as often as last yr due to all the curveballs being thrown at us, but generally, my portfolio is going up (though the ror on my page reflects an

always trust yourself. fund managers only want to earn commission. you can much better returns by buying and holding fundamentally good companies. my returns are higher than median but that's not the most important. set your own target and always try to do better by reviewing the mistakes and keeping an investing log. All the best for 2025!
