What is the breakdown of the shipping lead time? What is our tariff playbook?

This is an article that I have shared on other social media platforms to explain how shipping works. This does not target any business, but it provides an understanding of shipping from China to America. What key activities are involved when an order is placed to import products from China to America? Below is a summary of the lead time breakdown for importing goods from China (Shanghai) to the U.S. West Coast (Port of Los Angeles), followed by a table listing each activity, its estimated lead time, key documentation, and considerations. (This was done with help from Grok LLM.) Some of the activities can run in parallel or be completed within the same day. For example, the receipt of the booking confirmation in the morning can allow the “export” container to be collected in Shanghai in the

However to be good at surfing the waves take skill, patience &  willingness to take risks to ride out the waves of a turbulent stock market.  Like the sea, the stock market is unpredictable. Bigger Waves Bring Bigger Rewards: Do You Agree?

Before the market opened today, $Tesla Motors(TSLA)$ and $NVIDIA(NVDA)$ both dropped around 3%. Amid the cries and panic sweeping the market, a group of “contrarian” investors emerged — and surprisingly, they’re thanking Trump? The reason is simple: every time Trump imposes new tariffs, the US stock market takes a hit — and every dip becomes a discount for long-term investors to load up on quality assets.Buying more as prices fall — is it madness or wisdom?Lately, you've probably seen plenty of bear market warnings:US economist Harry Dent predicts that the market could crash by 30%-50% in the summer of 2025. He believes it could mirror the collapse of 1929 or the dot-com bust in 2000.Sounds scary, doesn’t

Some of my favourite Trump’s aligned stocks to short are $Direxion Daily Semiconductors Bear 3x Shares(SOXS)$, $Tradr 2X Short TSLA Daily ETF(TSLQ)$. I wanted to short Nasdaq $ProShares UltraPro Short QQQ(SQQQ)$ too but when I compared the percentage performance of the three, I have decided that that’s as much risk I am willing to take… I am more of a conservative investor and not much of a gambler. Taking shorts are just means of hedging against my other related positions. Of course I don’t hold any Tesla shares. I am not a fan of both Elon Musk or Tesla, so I don’t mind shorting

I believe volatility brings opportunity, especially for long-term investors. When strong companies like Tesla $Tesla Motors(TSLA)$ and NVIDIA $NVIDIA Corp(NVDA)$ dip due to events like tariffs or political noise, I see it as a chance to accumulate quality assets at a discount. Instead of panicking with the crowd, I focus on the bigger picture and stick to my conviction. Crash warnings like the ones from Harry Dent sound scary, but I rely on a solid strategy — like dollar-cost averaging and staying diversified — to weather the storms. It's not about avoiding risk altogether, but about understanding and embracing it when the odds are in your favor. So yes, I’m ready to ride the waves. Dips aren’t disaste

I have already started to nibble a bit and definitely have bought my SREITS. I think the potential storms will be short lived and trump will not allow these to go on forever and the market would rebound quickly. @Kaixiang @Fenger1188 @SPOT_ON @DiAngel @Wayneqq @rL
