Li Bin details Nio technology research and development, charging and swapping infrastructure investment and future prospects
Li Bin introduced at the 2025 Chinese Entrepreneurs Annual Conference that Nio's cumulative R&D investment in 11 years has exceeded 65 billion yuan, with a global R&D team of over 11,000 people and nearly 10,000 patents. Nio has invested more than 18 billion yuan in building charging and swapping infrastructure, deploying more than 3,600 battery swapping stations across the country, with a total of nearly 94 million battery swaps. Li Bin said that although the automobile industry is under pressure, he believes that innovation and operational efficiency can push Nio to rebound from the bottom.
