1 Trillion dollar wiped out from tech, Binance hacked, what’s next?

Disclaimer: Nothing I say or post should be considered financial advice. Please do your own due diligence before making any investment decisions. Long and behold, the AI bubble has finally showed signs of popping. $Alphabet(GOOGL)$ endured its worst day in history with 26% drop. $Amazon.com(AMZN)$ was not spared as well, dropping almost 15% post earnings. Even $Microsoft(MSFT)$ has not been spared, albeit a stellar earnings report, it struggled to hold its gains. I have been anticipating this true correction for months, and it has finally arrived.  With such lofty expectations on their shoulders for AI related companies, this i

Thanks to the brutal drop across semiconductors and the volatility that followed, my yearly return putting me at #4 on the yearly leaderboard! With just 2 more months left in the year, anything can happen: spot #3 is right there within striking distance at +79.84%, but in a market this wild, the elevator goes both up and down. Last Night’s “Black Friday” on Wall Street: Tech Got Crushed, and the AI Trade Just Got a Reality Check What a session. Overnight (U.S. Friday close, Oct 30), the market delivered a proper Black Friday for anyone heavily long tech and AI names. This wasn’t a broad panic — it was a focused, brutal repricing of the AI spend story. The Numbers S&P 500: –1.8% to 7,580 (worst day since June) Nasdaq Composite: –2.9% to 25,437 Dow: –1.1% to 51,770 Russell 2000: –1.7% The damage was concentrated. NVIDIA ($NVDA) dropped around 4–5%, AMD ($AMD) got hit harder (roughly –11%), and the real bloodbath was Intel ($INTC) — down nearly 29%, its worst single day since 1974. Amazon ($AMZN) also felt the pain after its results. Why It Happened Two catalysts landed almost simultaneously: Intel’s guidance d

I see the recent tech selloff as an opportunity to start screening quality companies, but I do not think we can call it a confirmed bottom yet. I remain positive on the long-term AI story, especially companies with strong competitive advantages and sustainable earnings. My focus is on individual stocks rather than buying the entire $Invesco QQQ(QQQ)$ basket blindly. I want to see whether revenue growth can translate into stronger free cash flow, while keeping an eye on valuation, capital expenditure and debt. A lower share price does not automatically mean a stock is cheap. I prefer to accumulate gradually on meaningful pullbacks rather than rush in with a lump sum. I am watching $Alphabet(GOOGL)$ ,

I prefer focusing on individual-stock recoveries rather than automatically buying QQQ after a sharp correction. A falling price does not necessarily mean a stock is cheap. Alphabet's 103% Cloud growth is impressive, but negative quarterly free cash flow highlights the cost of expansion. The opportunity lies in companies where earnings growth can outpace capital expenditure. I would prioritise sustainable profitability, manageable debt and improving cash flow. QQQ offers diversification, but also exposure to expensive stocks facing valuation pressure. My strategy: build a watchlist, scale into quality businesses gradually and retain cash. The best dip is not the biggest decline, but a fundamentally strong business temporarily trading at a more attractive valuation.

NVIDIA (NVDA) is in a corrective consolidation inside a still-intact longer-term uptrend. The stock is roughly 12% below its 2026-10-06 record high of $243.37, and the debate is not about demand but about how much of the AI capex cycle is already priced in at a ~$5.15T market cap.

Tiger Hotspots | Alphabet Falls Over 12%: Is It Time to Buy the Tech Dip?

Alphabet fell more than 12% in one day, and several technology heavyweights are 20%-30% below their 2026 closing highs. That has brought the familiar buying-the-dip question back into focus. Tiger's view: It is reasonable to start screening profitable companies after these pullbacks, but there is not enough evidence to declare a bottom across technology stocks. Prices, earnings and cash flow need to be assessed together—and historical recoveries show why the time horizon matters. 01 | Stock-level selloffs and index drawdowns differ On October 29, the Nasdaq Composite closed at 26,184.72, down 1.38%. The Nasdaq-100 fell 1.38%, while the S&P 500 lost 0.30%. GOOGL dropped 12.64%, Amazon fell 4.25%, Microsoft slipped just 0.16%, and Meta rose 1.96%. The performance was sharply divided. [1]

Crocs Jumped 25%. I Don't Think This Is a Consumer Recovery Trade.

Tech was getting hammered. Amazon fell. Intel collapsed. AI names were under pressure. And then a shoe company suddenly exploded almost 25% higher. Crocs. The easy conclusion is: “Money is rotating from tech into consumer stocks.” I don't think that is what happened. In fact, Crocs management gave us an important warning: The low-end consumer is still weak. So why did CROX explode? Because I think the market is beginning to reward something very different: SELF-HELP. Crocs did not need the economy to suddenly become wonderful. It fixed the part of its own business investors had almost given up on. And that creates a much more interesting investment lesson than simply: Consumer stocks are back. 🔵 THE HEADLINE NUMBERS WERE GOOD Crocs delivered Q3 revenue of: $1.04B, +4.6% Adjusted EPS: $3.69
