$WOLF 20250214 7.0 CALL$ WOLF: collect 2.25% premium from this covered call with strike at $7 which is 18% above last close. Contract expires next Fri on 14th Feb. WOLF had lost 95% of its market cap from $140 in 2022 to current levels. Won't be needing WOLF to go back to those glory days, just maybe a small rebound on market shares when the company turns around. Patience is running out so most likely will be selling more aggressive near the money calls in the future to collect more premiums even at the risk of losing the shares below holding cost.

Deep seek and China ai has threw major disruption to perceived assumption that high quantity of top tier next next next gen chips are a necessity to run ai. It's moat lays in there's no effective competitors who can challenger their chips output. Assumption is that Ferraris are required to win the ai game and only Nvidia produces Ferraris. If now Toyotas also can play the ai game, even if there's no need to win the race, Ferraris becomes a choice instead of necessity. Demand for their chips will reduce, pricing power will also fall due to this. Nevertheless, use short call options for additional buffer in case, I am wrong and to exit before earnings.
