$CELH 20250926 60.0 CALL$ CELH: collected full premium from these covered calls when they expired worthless on 26th Sept. CELH finally moves higher after 3 consecutive weeks of dropping.  Still a far distance from my covered calls as the price is still relative low.  Will continue to trade slightly lower strike and accumulate if ever has opportunity

$AMD 20250926 172.5 CALL$ AMD has been stuck in a range between $163 and $151 for nearly a month. Interestingly, we’re right back at the same level as the last earnings report two months ago. The stock did make a run up to $186, only to tumble back to $149 before settling into this range. Price action has been hovering around the 20EMA and 50EMA, showing no clear breakout yet. While AI remains the big talking point in tech, chip stocks like AMD aren’t getting the same spotlight lately — instead, quantum computing has been stealing the buzz. For now, I expect AMD to keep trending sideways in the short term. I’ve been hedging the downside with covered calls, selling at higher strikes to avoid assignment. The premiums aren’t

$ADBE 20250926 405.0 CALL$ Adobe hit a swing low around $330 back in mid-August, and since then the stock has been climbing steadily. Following a strong earnings report in early September, the trend has shifted to higher lows and higher highs, though progress has been frustratingly slow. My position has been underwater for quite some time, so I’ve been selling covered calls against my holdings while waiting for the share price to recover. Since my strike levels are set much higher, the premiums collected are more like pocket change — but it’s still better than bag-holding and just waiting passively. Every bit of premium helps while riding out this slow grind higher.

$CRWV 20250926 115.0 PUT$ CoreWeave peaked near $187 back in June and has since been trending in a bearish channel, with lower highs and lower lows. Recently, it printed a swing low around $85, which could be forming a potential double bottom — though we’ll see if that level holds if the stock revisits it again. This is a high-volatility stock that can swing 13–14% in a single day, keeping option IV elevated. Risky, but rewarding if you nail the direction. My last cash-secured put expired worthless, with the strike just $5 away from the close. I’ve got another contract running over the next couple of weeks, and I’ll update how that plays out once we hit expiration.

Violent shakeout

$NVIDIA(NVDA)$ Looking at some extreme opening call spreads, it’s possible the week of Oct 3 will see even larger swings than last week.Specifically, institutions are selling calls $NVDA 20251003 182.5 CALL$  and $NVDA 20251003 180 CALL$ , hedged by buying calls $NVDA 20251003 190 CALL$  and $NVDA 20251003 187.5 CALL$ . Resistance looks similar to last week—below 185.Bearish openings are quite pessimistic. While I still think it’s hard to break below 170

Market at Highs! Which Options Strategy Works Best This Week?

After three consecutive days of decline, $S&P 500(.SPX)$ finally rebounded on Friday. The market seems unable to fall further, but it also lacks strong upward momentum. Rate cut expectations and $Apple(AAPL)$ rebound may support the market. But the high valuations makes it vulnerable. $Gold - main 2512(GCmain)$ new high also means market is concerning about possible risks.Would you choose an Iron Condor on $SPDR S&P 500 ETF Trust(SPY)$?The Iron Condor is a non-directional options strategy, typically used in sideways markets with low volatility to profit from time decay. It consists of four option legs—selling a
Market at Highs! Which Options Strategy Works Best This Week?
TOPShyon: The market feels tricky right now. The S&P 500 seems range-bound after a few days of decline, but high valuations and gold hitting new highs suggest underlying risk. As a beginner in options, I’m cautious about jumping into an Iron Condor on SPY and prefer to watch the index’s behavior over the next few sessions. Intel’s recent surge is tempting, especially with news of potential investment from Apple. If I hold shares, selling covered calls could lock in some premium while allowing upside. For new positions, a Bull Call Spread limits cost and risk while still providing exposure to potential gains. For now, my focus is on learning and gradually applying options strategies rather than taking aggressive trades. I want to understand strike selection, implied volatility, and risk-reward dynamics before actively trading. I’ll keep monitoring both the index and Intel, while balancing my portfolio to manage risk and stay ready for opportunities. @Tiger_SG @TigerStars @Tiger_comments

Marks’ Valuation Alert: Mag 7 at 45x P/E—Time to Defend?

$S&P 500(.SPX)$ $NVIDIA(NVDA)$ $Tesla Motors(TSLA)$ $Microsoft(MSFT)$ $Apple(AAPL)$ $Alphabet(GOOG)$ Howard Marks’ latest Oaktree memo cuts through the noise, warning that U.S. stocks are “quite high” by many measures but not yet in irrational exuberance territory. He urges a “Level 5 defense”—trimming aggressive bets and bolstering defensive holdings—as the S&P 500 trades at 21.4x forward earnings and the Magnificent 7 averages 45x. With the S&P 500 at 6,650 and Nasdaq at 22,200, this call raises eyebrows. Do you buy Marks’

I think Howard Marks makes a fair point on valuations. The Magnificent 7 deserve premium multiples given their dominance, growth, and profitability, so their P/Es don’t look extreme to me. The bigger concern is the rest of the S&P 500, where the average P/E of 22 is well above historical norms and suggests the market overall is stretched. In my portfolio, I stay diversified with some exposure to quality growth leaders but avoid over-concentration in the mega-caps. I continue dollar-cost averaging in areas I see value, while trimming positions that feel overextended. This keeps me invested but disciplined. With the market at elevated levels, I agree it’s wise to adopt some defense. I’m balancing growth holdings with cash, short-term bonds, and dividend payers, which helps me stay expos
