Amazon Earnings Options Strategy: 225 Is the Toggle, 265 Is the Ceiling

I. Spending + Debt Issuance + Cash Flow Risks For this earnings report, Amazon faces the risk of upward revisions to capital expenditures or operating cash flow falling short of expectations. Competition for retail market share remains intense, which could further pressure retail margins. Amazon commands a significant share of the credit market, coupled with persistent oversupply from ongoing bond issuance — its credit performance is expected to lag behind the sector. Amazon is projected to add another $25–35 billion in debt by the end of 2026. Even the bond market is pricing in risks from Amazon's debt issuance and spending — this originates from the same valuation-killing dynamic seen with META and GOOGL. The make-or-break factor on the equity side is whether AWS growth can justify these

Same AI Spending, Different Results: Why Microsoft Surged While Meta Slid

Microsoft and Meta reported earnings on the same night. Both are spending heavily on AI infrastructure, both raised or maintained aggressive investment plans, and both delivered strong revenue growth. The market still gave them opposite verdicts. $Microsoft(MSFT)$ rose more than 8% after hours as Azure growth, Copilot adoption and a strong outlook convinced investors that its AI spending is already generating measurable returns. $Meta Platforms(META)$ fell roughly 9% in premarket trading after free cash flow collapsed and capital expenditure remained close to record levels. Meta’s advertising business is still growing quickly, but investors want a clearer answer on how its enormous compute buildout will c
Same AI Spending, Different Results: Why Microsoft Surged While Meta Slid
TOPShyon: I would choose B first, followed by A. I remain most bullish on the AI hardware supply chain because regardless of which platform wins, hyperscalers will continue investing in GPUs, networking, memory and power infrastructure. As long as capex stays strong, hardware demand should remain well supported. Microsoft's $Microsoft(MSFT)$ results also show the market has shifted from rewarding AI spending to rewarding AI monetization. Azure and Copilot are already generating visible revenue, while Meta $Meta Platforms, Inc.(META)$ still needs to prove its AI investments can create meaningful cash flow beyond advertising. I don't think the AI trade is over—it is simply becoming more selective. I'll continue accumulating quality AI hardware names on pullbacks while watching for platform companies that can consistently turn AI investment into profits. @TigerStars @Tiger_comments @TigerClub

Futures Weekly:Crude Oil Rises as Inventories Build; Gold Stays Weak Despite Tight Supply

Over the past week, major asset classes delivered a strikingly uneven set of returns. Crude oil took first place with a 10.64% gain, silver followed with 4.04%, copper and gold posted modest gains of 1.10% and 0.81% respectively, while aluminium fell 0.73% — the only commodity to close lower. Against that broad commodity strength, U.S. equity index futures retreated across the board. Both of the week's commodity narratives point to the Middle East. On crude: renewed U.S.–Iran confrontation, a Houthi strike that shut in 400,000 barrels per day of capacity at Saudi Aramco's Jazan refinery, Red Sea tanker traffic falling to multi-month lows, and OPEC+ preparing to stop raising output targets together pushed up the pricing of supply-disruption risk. On aluminium: according to Reuters, war in t

The Market Didn't Turn on AI . It Started Sorting.

$Microsoft(MSFT)$ up 7.70% after hours. $Meta Platforms, Inc.(META)$, down 7.10%. Same evening, same underlying fact — both companies are spending unholy amounts of money on AI — and fifteen points of daylight between them. Read those two numbers alone and you'd conclude the market turned on AI capex. It didn't. It did something more annoying: it started sorting. Start with who flipped the switch. The July FOMC didn't move rates and didn't change a word of the guidance. Warsh spoke, and within thirty minutes the ten worst names on the tape were almost all AI. The S&P 500 closed down 1.52% at 7,316.15, the Nasdaq Composite down 1.74%,

[ Event] SK Hynix Has Tumbled. How Much Have You Lost?

$SK hynix(SKHY)$ has fallen from a high of US$194.80 to US$126.29, down about 35%. The drop has been even more painful for $CSOP SK Hynix Daily (2x) Leveraged Product(07709)$ , which has fallen from HK$193.65 to HK$25.28, a loss of nearly 87% from its peak. SK Hynix reported record quarterly revenue and operating profit, but both still missed Wall Street expectations. That was enough to trigger another sharp swing in the stock. There is also a major change coming for leveraged ETF investors Starting August 3, CSOP’s single-stock leveraged and inverse products will move to a flexible leverage model. These products will no longer aim for a fixed 2x or -2x daily return. Instead, 2x will be the maximum, and
[ Event] SK Hynix Has Tumbled. How Much Have You Lost?
TOPShyon: I don't own $SK hynix(SKHY)$ or $CSOP SK Hynix Daily (2x) Leveraged Product(07709)$ directly, but I've been increasing my exposure to the memory-chip sector through Micron and leveraged semiconductor ETFs during this pullback. I believe the selloff reflects overly high expectations rather than weakening fundamentals. AI-driven HBM demand remains a strong long-term growth driver. I prefer buying quality companies during periods of fear instead of chasing momentum. I've been adding to Micron and SOXL on weakness because I expect AI infrastructure spending and memory demand to keep expanding. Volatility creates opportunities for patient investors. The leverage change to 07709 makes sense from a risk-management perspective, although it may reduce upside during sharp rebounds. My strategy remains the same: gradually buy the dip in high-conviction AI and memory stocks while staying focused on the long term. @TigerEvents @TigerStars @Tiger_comments @TigerClub
