Its latest results showed data-centre revenue reaching US$89 billion, up 117% year-on-year—evidence that infrastructure demand remains exceptionally strong. 2️⃣ Cloud: Microsoft, Amazon, Google and Oracle install these chips in data centres, then monetise them by renting AI computing power to developers and enterprises. 3️⃣ Software: Companies such as Salesforce use that cloud capacity to embed AI into real business workflows. 🪙 AI Software & Cybersecurity Stocks Surge: CRM +22.58%, CRWD +20.50% — What’s Driving the Rally?

Hi Tigers 🐯, AI software, cybersecurity and enterprise-tech stocks posted a powerful session, led by $Salesforce.com(CRM)$ +22.58%,$CrowdStrike Holdings, Inc.(CRWD)$ +20.50%, $Veeva(VEEV)$ +15.20%, $Synopsys(SNPS)$ +13.39% and $Palo Alto Networks(PANW)$ +12.83%. The rally was backed by a mix of earnings beats, stronger guidance, AI-related catalysts and higher trading volume. Technically, momentum has improved sharply across the group — although several names are now showing elevated RSI readings afte
🪙 AI Software & Cybersecurity Stocks Surge: CRM +22.58%, CRWD +20.50% — What’s Driving the Rally?
TOPJerry Lam: Of these 10, I'm currently paying the most attention to CRWD, followed by DDOG and NVDA. What attracted me most about CRWD wasn't the 20% increase that day, but rather the record-breaking new ARR, the continued upward revision of the full-year guidance, and the fact that AI security requirements are shifting from a "concept" to something that businesses must spend. Compared to ordinary SaaS, cybersecurity budgets are more rigid. The more AI agents there are and the wider the attack surface, the easier it is for platforms like CRWD to benefit. I would rank DDOG second because its short-term technical aspects are not as hot as CRM and VEEV, but cloud monitoring and observability are essential needs after AI applications become more complex. The more complex the AI system, the more companies need to know where the models, APIs, databases, and agents are going wrong. NVDA remains the most certain core asset in the AI theme, but it is more like a "master switch" than the most resilient target in this round of software rebound. So if I had to choose only one, I would still choose CRWD, but I wouldn't chase the 20% bullish candlestick after the pullback. In short: In the next stage of the AI market, I would rather buy security and monitoring that "must be continuously paid for" than just one-time emotional outbursts.

[MUST READ] The Golden Rule of Survival: How to Calculate Position Size (The 1% Risk Rule)

Ask 100 new traders why they blew up their trading accounts, and 90 of them will say: "My strategy failed." If you look at their trade logs, that’s almost never true. They blew up because they had zero position sizing rules. On one trade they risked $10, and on the next trade they risked $300 because they "felt confident." Professional risk management isn't about avoiding losses—it's about making sure no single loss can ever knock you out of the game. Here is a step-by-step guide on how to calculate your exact position size before hitting Buy or Sell. Jackson Hole 2026: Three Warsh Scenarios—and What They Mean for AI Stocks After Nvidia’s strong earnings reinforced confidence in AI demand, the market’s attention now shifts from corporate earnings to monetary policy. Federal Reserve Chair Kevin Warsh’s first Jackson Hole keynote could determine whether strong AI investment is viewed as: ✅ A productivity engine that allows faster, less inflationary growth or ⚠️ An investment boom that keeps demand and inflation too strong This distinction matters because technology companies face two opposing forces: * Strong AI capex supports semiconductor, cloud and software revenue. * Higher interest rates reduce technology valuations and increase financing costs. Here are my best, base and worst-case scenarios for the speech. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ CURRENT MA

🏆 AUGUST TAUGHT ME SOMETHING MORE IMPORTANT THAN PICKING THE RIGHT STOCK

If I judged August purely by my portfolio, it would be a pretty strange month to review. My positions were small. Some were short-lived. There were buys, sells, changes of plan and at least one period where I bought $BE and then watched it fluctuate like it had taken my purchase personally. 😂 But the biggest reason my portfolio looked the way it did had very little to do with the market. Real life happened. I needed access to money for personal circumstances, which meant selling investments earlier than I might otherwise have chosen. At first, that felt frustrating. We spend so much time talking about finding great companies, building conviction and holding for the long term. But August taught me something I think is just as important: Your investment strategy has to survive your real life

TOPEltonRichard: August taught me cash flexibility matters more than perfect conviction. Small size plus hedge beats forcing a hold when real life hits.

$Silvercorp Metals Inc(SVM)$ Revisit SVM, which is going from strength to strength. Despite silver price struggled overnight in US trading session, SVM was able to continue its strong march forward. In fact, upon hitting a recent low at $8.50, followed by a confirmation of inverted head and shoulders, the share price has not looked back. The main reason is linked to the recent backflow in interest in precious metals group in general. Gold has moved from $4000 to $4700 and silver from $55 to now finally assaulting $70 target 🎯. What a turnaround in a couple of weeks! As discussed in another article not long ago, there is a separate reason. SVM has over the years quietly transformed itself. Where Will U.S. Stocks, Semis, and Gold Go?Ross Dong on the Fed, AI CapEx, and a Forced Unwind
TOPUniverse宇宙: The US Treasury’s $4 billion bond buyback boost offers temporary liquidity relief, though market observers note it does not alter the broader fiscal dynamics as the US national debt passes $40 trillion. This macro strain hit right as July's tech rout forced an overdue repricing, sparked by AI profitability doubts and hyper-efficient open-source software. Concurrently, Singapore's REIT sector faces heavy structural pain. EC World REIT ( $EC World Reit(BWCU.SI)$ ) reaches its third year of trading suspension on August 31, 2026, alongside an over 50% net property income drop and a leverage ratio past 94%. Meanwhile, Dasin Retail Trust ( $Dasin Retail Tr(CEDU.SI)$ ) remains halted after its trustee-manager lost operational control over its main subsidiaries, leaving it mired in judicial management. $S&P 500(.SPX)$ $NASDAQ(.IXIC)$ @rL @MHh @Shyon @koolgal @icycrystal

$MEITUAN-W(03690)$ 2026 Q2 Financial Results Release Meituan reported revenue of approximately RMB 104.643 billion for the second quarter of 2026, representing a year-on-year increase of 14.4% and exceeding the Bloomberg consensus estimate of RMB 101.079 billion by approximately 3.53%. Profit for the period amounted to approximately RMB 2.155 billion, up 490% year-on-year. Adjusted net profit amounted to approximately RMB 2.524 billion, up 69% year-on-year, significantly exceeding the Bloomberg consensus estimate of RMB 340 million. The substantial divergence in year-on-year growth rates between profit for the period and adjusted net profit was primarily attributable to a significant increase in other net gains during the quarter,

Nvidia Set a One-Day Record for Market Value. The Firms Selling It Memory Fell.

Hello. $NVIDIA(NVDA)$ closed up 8.74 per cent on Thursday at US$227.98, and one report called it the largest single-day gain in market value the company has ever made; $Invesco QQQ(QQQ)$ rose 1.37 per cent. Another headline was blunter: $S&P 500(.SPX)$ was up that day because of Nvidia and nothing else. The other side of it appeared the same day: one report's headline said Nvidia is getting too big, and that this is a problem in itself. An index leaning on a single stock looks good on the way up and works the same way in reverse. The day before, it had fallen first and turned higher only on the 70 per cent growth
Nvidia Set a One-Day Record for Market Value. The Firms Selling It Memory Fell.
TOPJerry Lam: I prefer to see this as a matter of risk discipline rather than a crack in the financing model, but it does show that the market has begun to seriously examine the boundaries of Nvidia's ability to "sell shovels while helping customers make money." Suspending the revenue-sharing arrangement is not necessarily a bad thing in itself. AI data centers require huge upfront capital, and Nvidia's help to customers solve financing constraints was originally of practical significance. However, if the bond between suppliers, financers, and ultimate buyers becomes too deep, the market will begin to worry about how much of the demand is naturally formed and how much is pulled out in advance by the financing structure. Therefore, what we really need to look at is not "stopping an arrangement", but rather several subsequent indicators: whether accounts receivable and DSO will continue to rise, whether customers can raise funds independently, whether operating cash flow can keep up with revenue, and the utilization rate and return rate of these AI cloud projects. If all of these are healthy, then this is more like proactively tightening risk exposure; If more and more projects require Nvidia to cover their own costs, then we should be truly wary. On the contrary, I think that Nvidia's proactive step towards recovery shows that management also knows that the capital market has begun to focus on revenue quality, not just revenue growth. In short: financing can amplify the demand for AI, but it cannot replace real demand; Suspending a line is not necessarily a crack; the real crack depends on cash flow and the customer's ability to generate their own revenue.

Walmart's Paradox: It Beat and Raised — So Why Did Wall Street Sell It?

Walmart delivered the kind of quarter companies normally dream about: it beat expectations on earnings and revenue, raised full-year guidance and continued to grow. Wall Street responded by selling the shares hard. On August 20, adjusted EPS came in at $0.81 against consensus of $0.7413, while revenue reached $187.94 billion, up roughly 6% year on year. Yet the stock plunged 9%, its worst earnings-day reaction in Walmart's last ten reported quarters and its fourth consecutive earnings-day decline. That is not a normal earnings story. It is a valuation story, an expectations story and, increasingly, a fight about what Walmart is actually worth. Walmart built a giant machine. Wall Street narrowed the tightrope The beat that came with a footnote The most revealing detail was buried beneath th

Why Okta’s 21% Earnings Breakout Raises the Bar for AI-Identity Growth

$Okta Inc.(OKTA)$ reported its fiscal second quarter ended July 31 after the August 26 market close. The shares had already gained 2.9% to $134.42 during the regular session and then rose another 20.9% to $162.45 after hours. That response pushed the stock above its previous 52-week high near $157 and shows that investors viewed the combination of stronger backlog, guidance and AI-identity demand as more important than the company’s still-moderate headline growth rate. Revenue increased 11% year over year to $805 million and subscription revenue rose 12% to $793 million. Remaining performance obligations grew 17% to $4.858 billion, while current RPO, revenue expected principally over the next twelve months, grew 14% to $2.585 billion. Operating ca

Why CrowdStrike’s Record ARR Quarter Shows Security Consolidation Is Working

$CrowdStrike Holdings, Inc.(CRWD)$’s fiscal-second-quarter report supplied something software investors have recently demanded: growth accelerated at the same time as cash generation improved. The company reported after the August 26 close for the quarter ended July 31. Revenue increased 26% to $1.47 billion, subscription revenue rose 27% to $1.40 billion and ending annual recurring revenue increased 25% to $5.84 billion. The strongest leading indicator was net new ARR. It reached a record $332.8 million, up 51% year over year. Accounts adopting Falcon Flex represented more than $2.29 billion of ending ARR, up 101%. 🌟🌟🌟When a market faces a multi year inflation fight and still refuses to break, the trend is telling you everything you need to know.  I am betting on an upward breakthrough rather than a macro led decline. We have been staring at the exact same inflation ghost for over 5 years now.  Wall Street has already priced in a higher for longer narrative.  With the new Fed Chair Kevin Warsh getting rid of the dot plot forward guidance, his silence has the market jumping at its own shadow. But sticky inflation isn't a surprise anymore.  It is just an annoying background noise of the 2020s. The good news is that $NVIDIA(NVDA)$ blowout earnings brings much cheer to investors.  It is not every day you get a company scaling to USD 10

I’d choose D — satellite and terrestrial networks will eventually merge into one integrated ecosystem. SpaceX certainly has the technology to disrupt wireless communications, but building a nationwide terrestrial network is vastly different from providing satellite coverage. Urban density, indoor connectivity, capacity, mobility and fiber infrastructure remain difficult challenges. That is why I don’t see T-Mobile, Verizon and AT&T as immediate casualties. More likely, SpaceX will combine Starlink satellites, its newly acquired spectrum and existing terrestrial infrastructure through partnerships, tower leases and network sharing. Ironically, the biggest beneficiaries may be companies that help build the network. The real opportunity isn’t simply SpaceX versus telecom—it’s the converg
