🚨 BROADCOM’S $29 BILLION AI TEST: DOES NVIDIA HAVE TO LOSE FOR AVGO TO WIN?

For the last few years, the AI semiconductor story has been remarkably simple. AI spending goes up. Demand for GPUs explodes. Nvidia wins. But Broadcom’s upcoming earnings could test whether the next phase of the AI boom is becoming much more complicated. Broadcom reports fiscal Q3 earnings on September 2, and expectations are enormous. Wall Street is looking for roughly $29.4 billion in revenue and $3.24 in adjusted EPS. But those headline numbers are not what interests me most. Broadcom has already guided for approximately $16 billion in AI semiconductor revenue, representing growth of more than 200% year over year. That raises a much bigger question: Does Nvidia actually need to lose for Broadcom to become one of the biggest winners of the AI infrastructure boom? I don’t think it does.
🚨 BROADCOM’S $29 BILLION AI TEST: DOES NVIDIA HAVE TO LOSE FOR AVGO TO WIN?
TOPchikki: C — AI infra is not just GPUs. Networking and memory demand can expand with it, so Broadcom and Nvidia can both feast if hyperscaler capex stays wide open.

GLD: Is Gold Preparing For Another Major Move?

Gold has been consolidating after an aggressive rally, leaving a lot of traders asking if this is just a quick breather before the next leg up or the start of a deeper cool-off. Here is a quick breakdown of how our previous trade setup played out and what the charts are telling us right now. What You Need to Know About $SPDR Gold ETF(GLD)$ If you are new to trading gold or using ETFs instead of individual stocks, keep these core fundamentals in mind: Direct Exposure to Gold Spot: $GLD tracks physical gold bullion stored in vaults. When gold prices move, $GLD moves right alongside it without the company-specific risk of gold mining stocks. The Dollar & Rate Connection: Gold usually moves opposite to the US Dollar ($DXY) and treasury yields. When

AI’s Next Bottleneck Isn’t GPUs — It’s Power The AI trade may be entering its next phase: from chips to infrastructure. Everyone knows the AI story: More models → more GPUs → more data centers. But the bottleneck is changing. As AI clusters become larger and power-hungry, the question increasingly becomes: Can the physical infrastructure deliver enough electricity, cooling and networking to run them economically? That’s where I think investors should start looking beyond the obvious AI names.
 ⸻
💡 Why this idea? AI data centers are becoming increasingly power intensive. The investment chain is evolving: AI models → GPUs → networking → power → cooling → data centers This creates an interesting second-order opportunity. Instead of trying to predict which AI model wins, investors can look

Tomorrow's Money Is Being Marked Down. Dell's Has Already Landed.

$Dow Jones(.DJI)$ fell 419 points on Tuesday, or 0.79 per cent, to 52,766.88; $S&P 500(.SPX)$ lost 0.71 per cent to 7,631.47; $Invesco QQQ(QQQ)$ fell 1.27 per cent. The selling started in the Middle East: US forces struck Iranian targets near the Strait of Hormuz, and Brent crude jumped about 5 per cent on the day to around US$95, a level reports call its highest since late July. When oil goes up, the inflation maths has to be redone. The ten-year Treasury yield closed at 4.78 per cent, which reports put as the highest since January 2025; the thirty-year reached 5.27 per cent. Futures at the CME now put the odds
Tomorrow's Money Is Being Marked Down. Dell's Has Already Landed.
TOPJerry Lam: Before treating Broadcom's model as a "second income curve," I think what I most want to hear is not "how big the project is," but who will bear the ultimate credit risk, how high the rental yield will be, and when the cash flow will turn positive. If Broadcom simply puts its debt off-balance sheet through SPVs, but also provides a substantial guarantee for senior debt, then the economic risk has not truly left Broadcom. In this way, AI infrastructure leasing becomes more than just "chip revenue + rental revenue," but also a combination of capital expenditure, customer credit, utilization rate, and refinancing risk. Therefore, I will focus on three things: whether the customer contract is take-or-pay, whether the project's IRR is significantly higher than the financing cost, and how much liability Broadcom actually bears in the event of an SPV default. If these three points are clearly explained, and the lease cash flow is locked in for a long time, then it could indeed become a very nice second curve. Conversely, if the goal is simply to help clients build AI projects first and then use Broadcom Credit to reduce financing costs, then it is very close to "creating demand for oneself". In short: I am willing to pay for a second income, but only if it is truly rent and does not transfer the customer's credit risk back to my own balance sheet.
