🎁Weekly EPS Growth & Dividend Leaders: ORCL, ADBE, KR, CASY, BLK and more

😀Hi Tigers, As the Q2 earnings season unfolds, we’re taking a closer look at potential outperformers from two key angles: EPS expectations and dividend performance. In the first part, we highlight the top 20 stocks by market capitalization with stronger EPS estimates ahead of their earnings, scheduled between September 7 and September 11. 🎁Weekly Higher EPS Estimates: ORCL, ADBE, KR, CASY, COO & More 1. Why EPS Matters? Earnings per share(EPS) refer to the income per share brought to investors/shareholders in the open market. EPS is calculated as a company's profit divided by the outstanding shares of its common stock. The resulting number serves as an indicator of a company's profitability. Investors like companies with high profitability, and the market always rewards those earnings
🎁Weekly EPS Growth & Dividend Leaders: ORCL, ADBE, KR, CASY, BLK and more
TOPLanceljx: My pick is $BlackRock(BLK)$. I prefer its combination of scale, recurring fee income and long-term growth exposure through ETFs and private markets. The US$5.73 dividend is attractive, but I would rather own BLK for business quality and compounding than chase the much higher but more cyclical shipping yields. Analyst consensus is also constructive, with an external S&P Global consensus target around US$1,321. I would cross-check the exact target under Tiger Trade's Analysis tab since its figure may differ. For this week, $UnitedHealth(UNH)$ interests me. It goes ex-dividend on 14 Sep at US$2.32/share. I would view the dividend as a bonus rather than the main reason to buy. For dividend investing, underlying earnings and dividend sustainability matter more to me than simply picking the highest yield.

Margin 101 | 01 Buying AAPL before an Apple event: does an unused limit accrue interest?

When users open the margin account page, many see a "margin limit" or "available buying power" and immediately wonder: Have I already borrowed money? Will this limit start accruing interest straight away? The answer: a margin limit is not the same as money borrowed. Your margin limit represents the financing capacity you may be able to draw on, within your approved limit, your asset position and the applicable margin requirements. Interest only arises once you actually draw on margin funds and a margin balance is created. Tiger charges margin interest on the amount actually borrowed, not on your full approved limit. Important: This material is provided for general educational and informational purposes only and does not constitute financial product advice, investment advice, or a reco
Margin 101 | 01 Buying AAPL before an Apple event: does an unused limit accrue interest?
TOP苏36: The correct answer isC. AUD 10,000. A margin limit should not be confused with actual borrowing. If your account has an AUD 50,000 margin limit, that simply means you may have the capacity to borrow up to that amount, subject to your assets, margin requirements and the securities you trade. If you actually borrow only AUD 10,000, the margin interest is calculated on thatAUD 10,000 outstanding balance, not the unused AUD 40,000. Simply having a large margin limit does not automatically create an interest charge. The bigger point is thatbuying power is not the same as cashA higher limit can increase your trading capacity, but leverage also magnifies losses and may trigger a margin call when prices fall. So the smart approach is not to ask, "How much can I borrow?" but rather,"How much can I safely afford to borrow?" @Tiger_AU [龇牙]

Long-Term Yields Are Approaching a Tipping Point—Could Dollar Drop Another 10%?

Recently, the broader market and most asset classes have remained locked in a relatively measured, range-bound tug-of-war. Inflation and rate-hike discussions have driven short-term volatility, but they have not triggered any meaningful change in the overall trend. Meanwhile, in a less closely watched corner of the market, the 10-year U.S. Treasury yield has gradually climbed back toward the highs of the previous tightening cycle. If bond prices lose further control from here, both the Federal Reserve and the market itself could face significant challenges. In theory, changes in U.S. interest rates drive fluctuations in Treasury prices and, in turn, movements in Treasury yields. In other words, policy rates should serve as the anchor. This year, however, long-dated Treasury yields have cle
