$SUPER MICRO COMPUTER INC(SMCI)$ This is the Buffett model, taking advantage of crises to buy low-priced, high-quality company equity opportunities. Stocks that could be ten times their current value in the future are just beginning in the server market, where demand will increase dozens of times in the future. AI will permeate every industry, making for high-growth tech stocks with a price-to-earnings ratio of ten times.

$Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing(TSM)$ I have a friend who works at a semiconductor factory, a medium-sized FAB. To maintain operations without any production, it costs approximately $1 million per day. Now, let's conservatively estimate it at 5 million RMB per day. For it to be profitable, the factory utilization rate must be at least 80%, and the yield rate must be above 90%. Last year, half of the world's semiconductor equipment was supplied to China. One can imagine what the future utilization rate of Chinese semiconductor manufacturers might be—thinking about it is terrifying. Semiconductor factories can burn through money much more fiercely than photovoltaic manufacturers.

$Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing(TSM)$ This is NOT a prediction, just statistic that only 1 out of 12 times in recent past that S&P was only down 1 time. It means S&P has to go up another 80 points from now and end of the year.Poor TSMC got a huge selloff by foreign traders/investors yesterday in Taiwan Market, it happened with ASML too. The selloff in USA and Strong USD$ were to blame. Uncle is just the observer, not a commentator.

$Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing(TSM)$ Well bought some more today, the China story is way over blown. they sold nearly 10billion last month and with guidance for this quarter at 26.5 and the Arizona plant opening next month I don’t see weakness in this.Buying more!!! Once again easy $$$$

$Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing(TSM)$ When buying any stock, you should always compare it with its competitors or industry leaders. For example, if you want to buy $SMIC (SH688981)$, take a look at $TSMC (TSM)$ first, and then decide.Make sure you have a clear logic for buying, holding, and selling, and ensure your reasoning is consistent with yourself.
$Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing(TSM)$ TSMC will report December Sales on 1/10.Uncle does not know how they count their sales in NT$, the Taiwanese Dollar avg 1 USD$ to 32.093 NT$ for Oct, 32.365 for Nov, and 32.574 for December.Against TSMC guidance with 1 USD$ to 32 NT$ for Q4 2024.

$Apple(AAPL)$ Over the years, Tim Cook has done something many other corporate leaders have avoided: he built a personal relationship with Donald Trump. Cook's biggest victory came in 2019 when Apple faced the prospect of tariffs on all goods imported from China. Cook personally lobbied Trump, explaining how the tariffs would raise iPhone prices and benefit foreign competitors like Samsung. Just days later, Trump announced a scaled-back tariff plan, granting exemptions for a range of electronic products, including iPhones.
$Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing(TSM)$ Uncle is pleased that Microsoft announced that they'll spend $80B on data centers in 2025.$80B is 60% higher than their $50B in 2024.They may have found solution to their Power availability problems.MSFT has a lousy 2024 with gaining 12.7% in 2024 on share price. TSMC CEO met Elon Musk. Elon Musk said he worried about insufficient supply of advanced chips. TSMC CEO replied that supply is not a problem as long as you are willing to pay.
$Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing(TSM)$ Taking TSMC as an example, its valuation of over 70 in the past was not cheap either, and now it has tripled to over 210. Is a valuation of 210 for TSMC high? With a P/E ratio of 30, SMIC's valuation is much higher than TSMC's. Can their positions be the same? Similar cases also include other leading companies like NVIDIA, Tesla, and Apple. I remember during the previous cryptocurrency mining crash, people said GPUs were doomed, but later on, NVIDIA still made a fortune. NVIDIA's market value has soared from tens of billions to the world's number one. Of course, the valuation is high, but it is likely that the increase in performance will offset the valuation. However, I would choo

$Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing(TSM)$ My view on TSMC facing antitrust risks has changed. Originally, I thought the risks were not significant, but now I believe the risks are increasing. The reason is that if Intel chooses to give up in the manufacturing field, the market landscape will change drastically. Moreover, in four to five years, TSMC's scale could double from what it is now, and the importance of AI in five years will be incomparable to what it is today!

$Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing(TSM)$ TSMC is making over 90% of the most advanced chips in the world. It is also the leader in Cowos packaging. Apple used to split its order between TSMC and Samsung. It is now 100% TSMC. Where is Intel in this space? It is non existent. Intel Lunar Lake, Arrow Lake and Gaudi 3 are all made by TSMC. Where is Intel 18A? It's still a big question mark. TSMC has no competition. Apple, Nvidia, Qualcomm, Broadcom, Intel and US military all depend on it. I see TSM to reach $250 in 2025.

$Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing(TSM)$ TSMC’s approach is essentially a strategic retreat decision, whether it is driven by proactive or reactive factors. Their stance seems to be: "A gentleman does not stand under a dangerous wall." TSMC likely has other strategies (such as building factories in the U.S., Japan, Germany, and other regions, along with securing related subsidies) to offset the losses from their retreat. At this moment, TSMC is prioritizing risk avoidance as its main consideration. Ironically, what is defeating TSMC is not market competition, but the potential political pressure from the U.S. It’s a consequence of the times, and there’s not much to say about it.

$Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing(TSM)$ One of the most frustrating things in the market is "expectations not materializing."This has caused most of the capital invested in the NV chain, based on a positive outlook for fundamentals, to choose to stay on the sidelines or temporarily exit (hence, it's not a sell-off).Trump is highly likely to win, but he won't take office until next year. During this interim period, he will repeatedly make provocative statements (the first being his victory speech) targeting tariff issues and international free trade policies.Eventually, he will undoubtedly use these issues as leverage to negotiate with us further (that's a matter for the future).Meanwhile, expectations for U.S. tech stock

$Apple(AAPL)$ Apple's innovation pipeline and strong product ecosystem continue to drive growth. With new product launches and services expansion, Apple remains a market leader. I'm bullish on AAPL, anticipating continued success. Also, MYNZ is rumored to have major developments in the pipeline—stay alert.

$Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing(TSM)$ Like in the semiconductor industry, despite high prosperity, for instance, ASML, upon checking last night, has dropped by 40% over the past few months... Only a few like NVIDIA, Broadcom, and $Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing(TSM)$ TSMC are holding up, while others such as Micron, ASML, Qualcomm, AMD, Intel, and so on have already seen significant declines. The current situation is like the last frenzy of a bull market. Overflowing funds are speculatively driving up the prices of junk stocks. If NVIDIA falls, then this bull market will be over.

$Apple(AAPL)$ Thank goodness for Microsoft. Only Microsoft has lower gains than Apple this year among the Mag 7 stocks. Microsoft is spending like crazy on A.I. hardware and infrastructure so I wonder why investors aren't excited about it. Maybe investors are upset as Meta and Musk's xAI are spending even more money on A.I. than Microsoft.

$Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing(TSM)$ Supply chain, AVGO says they will sell $60B-$90B of high end (AI) chips from 2025-27. They get these from TSM and that's just one customer. Soon we will hear ASML saying that their backlog of EUV machines is growing rapidly due to TSMC capital expenditure plans and all the semi equipment stocks that have been decimated (LRCX, AMAT, KLAC) will soar.I can smell the next semi up-cycle coming in 2025-27.

$Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing(TSM)$ China is currently lacking in high-process chips, and the method of using packaging stacking results in low yield and high cost, which cannot compete with TSMC, which has advanced EUV technology. In fact, TSMC's high-end chips have only seen significant development after the rise of AI. Many chip companies rely on exports, such as Allwinner Technology, Jingcheng Semiconductor, and GigaDevice; their downstream customers are enterprises exporting to Europe and America, like Xiaomi, Midea, and Haier. If the U.S. and China decouple or additional tariffs are imposed with component, the risk is hard to assess. Another risk is that if the U.S. and China reach an agreement and are forced t

$Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing(TSM)$ Seeing the negative comments about TSMC, the sore losers know TSMC has something that they will never gain a desired advantage. If all the G7 countries (EU, US and Japan) are willing to work with TSMC, TSMC must have done something right unless you think they all the top leaders have made a wrong judgement. TSMC has something every countries want that includes the PRC.Once you have seen Color TV, it is a hard sell to the people that BW TV is better than Color TV. The new world will keep moving forward.
