It was definitely a pleasant surprise to learn that US inflation has dipped to a “new” low of 5.0%, with the data released on Wed (12 Apr) morning, around 8:30am US time. This result was even “better” than Wall street’s analysts forecast of 5.2%. In summary, inflation has “fallen” by 0.1% from Feb 2023 to Mar 2023. Will the “good” time lasts ? The company's impressive growth in new customer acquisition and operation has resulted in a steadily rising performance throughout 2022, despite the bearish stock market. 前幾天剛和朱曉彤聊完的Matthew Donegan-Ryan又分享了自己在$特斯拉(TSLA)$ 投資者日的另一項見聞，這次的話題是關於Semi卡車的。關於FSD：-Semi擁有所有必要的 FSD 硬件，但所需的軟件部分尚未完成。-目前在Semi上已經啓用的，是基於視覺的定速巡航和部分主動安全功能。-當被問到是否已經啓動了Autosteer，得到的回答是“對其他 AP/FSD 功能無可奉告”。-Semi不需要在後面的拖車上安裝移動攝像頭。所有FSD功能都將基於本體上的攝像頭髮揮作用，這讓我很好奇Semi怎麼觀測後方來車。關於三電：-特斯拉官網目前表示所有3個電機都將安裝在後軸上，這已經不準確了。Semi的在每個軸上都安裝了一個電機，兩個後軸上有用於加速/爬坡的“扭矩”電機，前軸上有一個“巡航”電機。-這個佈局類似於特斯拉平時強調經濟性的雙電機車型，而非Plaid式的後軸雙電機性能方案。-Semi的髮夾電機採用激光焊接，功率增加 30%。-Semi只有1個充電端口，之前有傳聞說特斯拉可能會考慮安裝兩個充電口，這樣可以在必要時增加更高的充電功率，但最終被取消應該是成本的問題。-Semi的續航可以保證從Giga Austin滿載不間斷地行駛到Giga Monterrey。來源：常巖-CY
