A Singaporean netizen shared that with work stress and little time to enjoy life, he would definitely send a mahjong table to his ancestors—so they can have fun with their neighbors in the afterlife!
Some young people choose burgers and fries as offerings, arguing that modern life is all about convenience. If that’s the case, why not burn an entire $McDonald's(MCD)$ store instead?
A Chinese netizen had a similar idea but opted for a 7-Eleven store, so their ancestors could have anything they want, anytime—even opening a supermarket in the afterlife! After all, wasn’t owning a store a childhood dream for many?
Meanwhile, a Singaporean child wished to burn Labubu and Cry Baby plush toys—their favorite collectibles. But would ancestors really appreciate these quirky, “ugly-cute” dolls?
Others had a more financially strategic approach—burning a bank so their ancestors could withdraw money at any time. Of course, gold ingots remain a classic choice, especially now that gold prices have hit record highs. But does gold in the afterlife follow the same market trends?

Even though my father passed away 2 years ago, his memory is still lives in my heart.
When he was alive he loved to play his records. His favourite song would be Elvis Presley's "Love Me Tender".
I know that he would be happy if I could send him a record player with all his favourite Elvis Presley's records.
This year's Qingming Festival falls on April 4. Many Chinese families would be visiting the graves of their ancestors.
The Qingming Festival brings to my mind that our time on Earth is finite. We should treasure our loved ones when they are alive and live life to the fullest.
