If you are long Palantir it’s bullish
$PLTR
Palantir reported one of their best quarters in history as a public company.
If you are/have been a long term shareholder, you understand this deeper than others. Two years ago, the company was barely growing above 15%, not profitable, and couldn't scale their core software offering.
Now, the business is seeing demand that has surprised even the largest of supporters, achieved profitably with 20% GAAP margins for 10 quarters in a row, has a rule of 83, is inching on 40% growth, and so much more.
The elephant in the room is the stock price going down 10% after hours.
I cannot stress this enough: the stock is not the company.
Palantir has always traded at an aggressive multiple and no major bull I know denies the fact or insisted that above $100 the stock was cheap -- it was up 70% from the April lows & surpassing a $300B market cap. It's not absurd to see it take a breather. It's also pretty normal when a company reports an incredible earnings, is up a ton going into the print, and then sells off because the quarter wasn't good enough.
