I lean towards buying the pullback gradually rather than waiting for expectations to collapse. The $200m Q4 revenue miss matters because AVGO is priced for near-perfect execution, but the underlying AI story actually strengthened. AI semiconductor revenue hit $16.7bn, +221% YoY, with Q4 expected to accelerate to $21.7bn. More importantly, Broadcom now sees ~$115bn of AI semiconductor revenue in FY2027 and says demand exceeds that outlook. That makes the sell-off look more like a valuation reset than a thesis break. The warning from Credo is still important: at elevated multiples, beats are expected and margins/guidance determine the reaction. I would not chase AVGO immediately after the drop, but I also would not wait for a perfect entry. Scale in if weakness continues. The bigger question

TOPAfraSimon: That $115bn FY2027 target is exactly where I get skeptical. Revenue can scale, but if gross margin slips on mix or supply chain costs, the multiple resets again.

I agree with Franklin’s Macro → Industry → Technicals → Risk framework. For me, the long-term AI and semiconductor thesis remains intact, but September could still be volatile because rates and the 30-year Treasury yield can quickly change the valuation of high-growth tech. I’m still bullish on semiconductors, especially the broader AI supply chain beyond GPUs. Memory, HBM, networking and power infrastructure are becoming increasingly important, which is why I’m comfortable using pullbacks to accumulate quality semiconductor exposure rather than chasing rallies. For leveraged ETFs like $Direxion Daily Semiconductors Bull 3x Shares(SOXL)$ and TQQQ, I agree that they should be treated as tactical tools, not permanent holdings. I’m willing to use SO

Why Campbell’s Dividend Cut Is a Balance-Sheet Warning, Not a Reset Victory

$Campbell Soup(CPB)$’s decision to reduce its dividend may eventually help repair the balance sheet, but it should not be mistaken for evidence that the operating turnaround has succeeded. The cut releases cash because earnings, margins and volumes have already deteriorated. Campbell reported on September 3 for the fiscal fourth quarter ended August 2. Quarterly net sales fell 8% to $2.14 billion, or 1% organically, while adjusted EBIT declined 25% to $242 million. GAAP EPS was a loss of $0.23 and adjusted EPS fell 37% to $0.39. For fiscal 2027, management expects organic sales to decline 2% to 4%, adjusted EBIT to fall 7% to 12% and adjusted EPS of $1.65 to $1.80. Campbell’s official results provide the results and outlook. The bearish evidence is

Why Adobe’s New CEO Inherits a Monetisation Problem, Not a Product Problem

$Adobe(ADBE)$’s leadership transition is not a referendum on whether the company can build AI products. Adobe already has generative tools across creative work, documents and customer experience. The question for incoming CEO Anil Chakravarthy is whether those products can accelerate revenue without weakening the economics of the subscription franchise. Adobe announced on September 3 that Chakravarthy will become president and CEO on December 1. Shantanu Narayen will move to executive chair. Chakravarthy currently leads Customer Experience Orchestration and worldwide field operations, and previously served as Informatica’s CEO. Adobe’s next earnings call is scheduled for September 10. Adobe’s official announcement establishes the roles and dates.

Why Ciena Fell 10% After Raising Guidance

$Ciena(CIEN)$’s fiscal third quarter combined 37% revenue growth, expanding margins and higher annual guidance. The stock nevertheless fell 10.36%. The contradiction makes sense if investors were pricing almost flawless AI-network demand and became more concerned about customer concentration and the durability of recent growth. Ciena reported on September 3 for the quarter ended August 1. Revenue increased to $1.67 billion from $1.22 billion, adjusted EPS rose to $2.11 from $0.67 and GAAP gross margin expanded to 45.4% from 41.3%. Management raised fiscal-2026 revenue guidance to $6.42 billion, plus or minus $50 million, and guided the fourth quarter to $1.75 billion, plus or minus $50 million. Ciena’s official results provide the figures. The bul

Why Samsara’s Physical-AI Growth Still Has to Survive the Valuation Test

$Samsara, Inc.(IOT)$ is demonstrating that AI demand extends beyond data centres and office software. Its connected-operations platform turns vehicle, equipment and worker data into safety and efficiency decisions. The latest quarter strengthens the growth case, but the after-hours jump moves the valuation test forward. Samsara reported after the September 3 close for its fiscal second quarter ended August 1. Revenue grew 30% to $508.4 million, annual recurring revenue increased 30% to $2.125 billion and net new ARR reached $134.1 million. The company raised full-year revenue guidance to $2.043 billion to $2.047 billion and adjusted EPS guidance to $0.76 to $0.78. Samsara’s official second-quarter release provides the results and outlook. The bulli

Why Ultragenyx’s 44% Collapse Changes the Risk of Every Remaining Catalyst

$Ultragenyx Pharmaceutical(RARE)$’s failed Angelman-syndrome trial removed a major pipeline asset and weakened confidence in conclusions drawn from its earlier studies. The company still has commercial products and regulatory catalysts, but their value must now be assessed alongside financing needs, spending reductions and heightened clinical uncertainty. Ultragenyx announced on September 2 that the 129-patient Phase 3 Aspire study of apazunersen failed both its primary cognitive endpoint and key secondary multidomain endpoint. The company found no treated-versus-control difference supporting efficacy and said it would evaluate the programme’s disposition while implementing significant expense reductions. Options puppy guide when OCBC issue new bonds TigerTrade

. 📊 OCBC vs NTTDCREIT: HOLD, SELL OR SWITCH TO BONDS? 💰 A Beginner’s Guide to Making the Decision The market gives us new headlines every day. But should every headline make us buy or sell? This week, two interesting developments caught investors’ attention: 🏦 OCBC priced US$750 million of covered bonds at 4.63% due 2029. 🏢 NTTDCREIT is set to join the FTSE EPRA Nareit Global Developed Index from September 21. At first glance, both look positive. But the more important question is: Do these announcements actually change the investment thesis? For me, the answer is: not really. Instead, they give investors a good opportunity to review whether they should HOLD, RELEASE or SWITCH some money into bonds. ⸻ 🏦 OCBC: A Strong Bank, But Valuation Matters OCBC is one of Singapore’s Big Three banks.

Why Dominion’s Merger Vote Does Not Remove the Regulatory Discount

$Dominion Resources(D)$ and $NextEra(NEE)$ shareholders have approved their proposed combination, clearing an important condition. The vote does not make completion automatic. Utility regulators still control the timetable and can demand concessions that change the economics for shareholders. The companies announced their agreement on May 18. Dominion investors would receive 0.8138 NextEra shares for each Dominion share, plus their current dividend through closing and a share of a $360 million cash payment. The parties expected closing within 12 to 18 months, subject to federal approvals and reviews in Virginia, North Carolina and South Carolina. Why Aerie Must Carry American Eagle Through the September 9 Report

$American Eagle Outfitters(AEO)$ enters its next earnings report with two very different brand trajectories. Aerie is growing quickly, while the namesake American Eagle brand remains weak. The stock’s outlook depends on whether Aerie’s momentum can offset tariffs, promotional risk and the larger mature banner. AEO announced on August 25 that it will report fiscal-second-quarter results on September 9. Those results were not available at this research cut-off. The company’s investor page confirms the scheduled report, preventing estimates from being presented as completed results. The latest reported quarter ended May 2 and was released May 28. Revenue rose 10% to $1.2 billion and comparable sales increased 8%. Aerie comparable sales grew 25%, while

Both Are AI Plays—So Why Did Snowflake Surge While Broadcom Fell?

Snowflake and Broadcom have just released their latest earnings. Both companies delivered solid results, but the market reacted very differently. Snowflake jumped more than 22% in after-hours trading, while Broadcom fell by around 4% at one point. Both companies are benefiting from the AI boom, so why did their share prices move in opposite directions? I think there are three main reasons. 1. Both delivered strong results, but the market trades on expectations Let’s start with Snowflake. Snowflake reported second-quarter product revenue of $1.492 billion, up 37% year over year. Total revenue reached $1.547 billion, representing 35% growth. Adjusted earnings per share came in at $0.62, well above the market expectation of $0.45. Those numbers were already strong, but what really excited the

Dell Is Up More Than 230% This Year and Jumped Another 16% After Earnings—Is It Still Worth Chasing?

Dell has been one of the strongest AI-related stocks this year, alongside NVIDIA and Broadcom. As of September 2, Dell closed at $492.20, gaining 15.8% in a single session and moving close to its 52-week high of $514. The stock has now risen more than 230% year to date. After such a massive rally, does Dell still have room to run? I don’t think we should judge it simply by how high the share price has gone. The more important questions are: Why has it risen so much, and can future earnings support the current valuation? 1. Dell’s rally is backed by more than just AI hype Dell’s share-price trend this year has been quite clear. Instead of rising steadily every day, the stock has moved sharply higher each time the company reported earnings. In February, Dell forecast approximately $50 billio

🔥 BROADCOM GREW AI REVENUE 221%. WALL STREET STILL SAID “NOT ENOUGH.”

There was a time when reporting 221% growth in AI revenue would have been enough to send almost any semiconductor stock flying. Broadcom just did exactly that. The stock fell anyway.
