Based on the scenario described, I think it is still too early to confidently call a bottom. Several factors suggest the correction may not be over. Reasons to be cautious: Valuation reset: Memory stocks had rallied dramatically on AI and HBM optimism. When expectations become stretched, even good long-term fundamentals cannot prevent sharp multiple compression. Negative sentiment: Downgrades and profit-taking often feed on themselves, especially in a highly cyclical sector like memory. Forced selling by leveraged investors can continue beyond what fundamentals justify. Macro uncertainty: If geopolitical tensions continue to pressure global risk appetite, cyclical semiconductor stocks are usually among the first to be sold. Memory cycles remain volatile: History shows DRAM and NAND stocks

Apple (AAPL) Elliott Wave View: Final Leg of June 15 Impulse Rally Before Corrective Decline

Apple (AAPL) continues to extend its advance, breaking to new all‑time highs in a powerful impulsive structure. The short‑term cycle from the June 26, 2026 low remains in progress and is unfolding as a clear five‑wave rally. From that low, wave 1 ended at $288.37, followed by a corrective pullback in wave 2 that completed at $279.85. The stock then resumed higher in wave 3, reaching $315.93, before a modest retracement in wave 4 concluded at $306.95, as reflected in the thirty‑minute chart. Wave 5 is now in progress, developing with internal subdivision into another five waves. From the wave 4 low, wave ((i)) advanced to $323.45, while the subsequent pullback in wave ((ii)) ended at $311.91. The stock has since resumed higher within wave ((iii)), reinforcing the bullish sequence. As long a

markets are super tough right now - important to put things in context when looking at individual stocks $TSLA is holding up relatively well , probably because it has underperformed by a lot $SPCX continues to fly too high imo, valuation is hard to defend in the current environment. Long term it's obviously a no brainer, but I don't see how it can hold up over the next 6 months with more sell catalysts coming. $NVDA and $MU, as well as other semis, are now ridiculously undervalued but short term momentum is against them. I am still holding back with $SPCX, probably until Nov. $TSLA can surprise with Robotaxi and probably WILL, over the next 6 months, but we don't know when. Risk is that we see a market crash in Q4, which would drag it down.

TOPWarzypants: I’m waiting for $spcx to be around $90 before I look to buy. I think that is possible when all the unlocks are complete. Lots waves of selling pressure until this resolves, though I think not all OG investors will look to sell just because they can. Long term I think this will be a great stock to own, just not yet.

I'm holding $Micron Technology(MU)$ and used this pullback to add a little more. To me, the market wasn't reacting to weak earnings—it was reacting to very high expectations after such a strong AI-driven rally. When positioning gets crowded, even good news can trigger profit-taking. I'm still positive on the long-term AI infrastructure story because demand for HBM, enterprise SSDs, and AI servers hasn't changed. What changed is sentiment and valuation. After such a big run, a healthy pullback isn't surprising, and it's a reminder that risk management matters. For now, I'm staying patient instead of trying to call the bottom. If the fundamentals stay intact, I'd rather accumulate quality names gradually than panic over one bad week. Short-term vola

Inside the Momentum Meltdown

Something just snapped under the surface of this market. Goldman’s High Beta Momentum basket peaked on June 22. Just three weeks later, it has cratered 32.8%. To put that in perspective, the only comparable unwind in the chart’s history occurred in late 2021, when the basket dropped 34.2% right before the bruising 2022 bear market. Major indexes look completely fine. They barely nudge, masking the damage. But underneath that calm exterior, the absolute hottest stocks of this cycle are getting liquidated at breakneck 2021 speed. The intraday action tells the whole story: massive gamma squeezes in the morning, terrifying air pockets by the afternoon, and violent, erratic sector rotation all day long. Indexes tell you the weather. Factor baskets tell you what is actually happening. The Anatom

Avis Budget Group Scores $650 Million Settlement A Stark Reminder Why Most Should Avoid Meme Stocks

Avis Budget Group just scored a massive legal victory, but it comes with a glaring warning label for retail investors. The company reached a $650 million cash settlement with activist hedge fund Pentwater to resolve a Section 16(b) short-swing profits lawsuit. Signed on June 19, 2026, the deal now awaits court approval to ensure Avis pursued the claims diligently and that the terms are fair. Until the judge signs off, nothing is guaranteed—the timing, final payout, and actual receipt of the cash remain up in the air. Clawing back hundreds of millions from alleged improper short-term trading is a massive win on paper. Yet, it also exposes the structural chaos underlying stocks that turn into meme favorites.  The Anatomy of the Hype Trap Stocks like Avis (CAR) frequently skyrocket on re

SPCX Breaks Below $150: JPMorgan Says Merger Makes Sense. Morgan Stanley Says It Needs $672 Billion. Both Are Right.

The most important sentence published this week about SpaceX did not come from JPMorgan. It came from Morgan Stanley, which issued a Buy rating with a $300 price target and simultaneously disclosed that SpaceX faces a $672 billion funding gap with no projected free cash flow until 2035. Jim Chanos called that disclosure "truly glorious." He is correct. When your own bull case requires acknowledging a $672 billion capital hole and a decade without positive cash flow, the bull case needs more than a price target. It needs a compelling argument for why the market should fund that gap at current multiples. SPCX has fallen 35.6% from its all-time high of $225.64. It breached $150 this week, briefly traded below the $135 IPO price on July 15, and is currently trading around $123 to $139 dependin

I've been holding the Singapore banks for a while, and they've been one of the steadiest performers in my portfolio this year. Personally, I prefer $DBS(D05.SI)$ for its strong franchise, consistent dividend growth, and leading digital banking platform. 🌟🌟🌟 $LINK REIT(00823)$ is the largest REIT in Asia by market capitalisation.  Link REIT's strength lies in its underlying real estate assets mix. Unlike volatile premium office or luxury retail spaces, Link REIT primarily owns community shopping centres, fresh markets and car parks located next to public housing estates in Hong Kong. Link REIT has an incredibly sticky corporate tenant base with high occupancy rates and reliable rental collection.   This is because consumers do not stop buying groceries or daily necessities even during an economic downturn. For dividend focused investors, Link REIT pays an attractive dividend yield of 6.5%. That makes Link REIT a great Hong Kong stock to buy and hold long term.

The memory sector was hammered again: SNDK down 13%, SKHY off 14%, MU sliding nearly 6%, while bearish SOXS surged. Headlines warn the cycle has further to run, with downgrades & profit‑taking calls piling on. Geopolitical risks like Red Sea tensions only added to the fear. 🐯 My view: this looks like capitulation. After relentless deleveraging, the sector feels oversold, & I think memory stocks are ready to bottom.
